Neopets Guide
Step 1:
You need to find an mp3 url to put into the code. You can create your own by uploading your own music onto a file hosting site (eg: www.fileden.com) OR you can search the web for an mp3 by typing in "ArtistNAME - SongNAME mp3" into google.
NOTE: You can only use mp3 and wma file formats on Neopets and also if you use Mozilla there is no point doing this, neopets only allows one code that works in IE.. SORRY :(
Step 2:
Once you have your url make sure it is appropriate for use in Neopets. This means it must be either a mp3 or wma file, contain NO spaces and not contain inappropriate words such as 'free' or else it will not work on Neopets. If you are using FileDen you need to rename your mp3 to get rid of the spaces by clicking on the little + sign next to the file name in your 'main' or 'sub' folder.

Step 3:
Put your url into the code below.

Using your own music files on FileDen
Step 1:
FileDen is a file hosting site that allows up to 500MB storage for members with free accounts. It mainly deals with mp3, wma, mpg etc music file uploads but you can upload jpg, gif or html files as well. It provides the urls, music code and video codes. Make an account NOW by going to
www.fileden.com.
Step 2:
Once you have joined the file hosting site, upload your mp3 from your computer onto the site. This can be done by clicking 'Upload' on the sites main navigation bar. When the page opens you will see a 'browse' button, click this button and click on the file you wish to upload from your computers documents. You can't upload song files with invalid characters such as ' # & , )[ so you may need to rename your files on your computer. Once you have chosen your file, click 'Upload files' and wait for it to upload. When the upload is complete a new page will open displaying the url.
Step 3:
You can view all your files under 'Files'. This is the place where you can arrange them into folders or rename them. In order to use the mp3 url's in Neopets you will most likely need to rename them to get rid of spaces or disallowed language.
Extras:
Renaming your Files on FileDen (If necessary):
1. Click on 'Files'.
2. Go to the folder with the song/video you would like to rename.
3. Press the green + button next to the song/video name and the details of the file will come up.
4. Click 'rename'
5. The page will change and you can enter the new name of your file. Make sure you don't get rid of the file format name (ie: .mp3), then click 'rename file'.
6. You have successfully renamed your url file!
Deleting a File/s on FileDen:
1. Click on 'Files'.
2. Go to the folder with the file you would like to delete.
3. Click on the tick symbol next to the file name and the line will be highlighted.
4. Next scroll up to the dropdown menu which says 'selected file actions' and choose delete. It will automatically delete the file.
5. You're done.
